Executive VP & GM Of F-22 Program Will Discuss The
Raptor
Larry Lawson, Executive Vice President and General Manager of
Lockheed Martin's F-22 Program, is scheduled as the featured guest
speaker for the regular bi-monthly meeting of the Atlanta Aero Club
December 4. Lawson is responsible for the development, manufacture
and sustainment of the Raptor aircraft.
AgustaWestland announced Tuesday that the Qatar Armed Forces has
taken delivery of its first AW139 medium twin helicopter. An
official ceremony was held Monday at AgustaWestland's Vergiate
plant in Italy.
Pratt & Whitney has delivered the 400th F119 engine, which
powers the Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor, to the U.S. Air Force. The
company says this milestone delivery marks a significant
accomplishment for the only operational fifth generation fighter
engine in service today.
