Cirrus Says The New TCM Powerplant Is Lighter, Quieter,

Kicking off the eighth annual meeting of the Cirrus Owners and
Pilots Association Friday, Cirrus Aircraft introduced the SR22T,
the newest member of the SR22 family of composite piston aircraft.
The SR22 series is the world's best-selling four-place airplane for
eight years in a row.

him that a new version of the SR22 Turbo was on its way to see him,
he was VERY interested. Owning an SR22 Turbo for a year and a half,
such an announcement was bound to cause curiosity as the experience
we have had with his machine has been truly exemplary...
Recent media reports here and elsewhere have indicated that some
aircraft carrying journalists have been denied permission to
overfly the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, which is under an
indefinate TFR. In a news release Thursday, the FAA says it is
accomodating those media flights.
