Pardon The Dust: US NOTAM System To Be Down Six Hours For Repairs

Outage Will Fix Glitches Uncovered Last Month When System Crashed

ANN REALTIME REPORTING 06.22.08 1600 EDT. The FAA issued a notice this weekend of a scheduled system outage for the US Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) system on Monday, June 23. According to the notice the system covering NOTAMs in the United States, Iraq, and Afghanistan will be down from 0400 UTC to 1000 UTC. During that time all systems displaying information for those areas will not be updated.
