FAA Must Justify The $2.5-$6.2 Billion Cost For ADS-B Out
Equipage Under New Rule
The Air Transport Association of America (ATA) says the FAA
needs to justify the multi-billion dollar cost of requiring
aircraft operating in U.S. airspace to be equipped with ADS-B Out
equipment as stipulated in its final rule released earlier this
week.
Dan Gryder Was Arrested Last Fall On Assault Charges
The FAA is reportedly considering suspending the license of
Daniel Wayne Gryder, following his arrest last fall on charges of
agrevated assault and obstruction of an officer.
A Cessna 182, which had just been pre-flighted and untied in
preparation for a skydiving mission at Mesquite Municipal airport
(KHQZ) in Nevada, was picked up by an unexpected wind vortex and
dropped onto its back May 23rd.
