“It's a terrible tragedy. There are two families basically
taken from us." Those words came from Mark Feinstein, president of
the Rhode Island Jewish Federation, after two families -- both very
active in the community -- were lost in a single-engine plane crash
over the weekend. Feinstein was quoted in the Providence Day
newspaper.
A Challenger II crashed Saturday in Eastern Oregon killing two
Spokane men. Ezra M. Ward, 71, and Keith G. Bird were killed in the
crash just after 2 p.m. about 10 miles south of La Grande, OR.
