Acquires 50 Percent Stake in German Company In Exchange For Intellectual Property, Aviation Fuels License
An American company that is developing a commercial replacement for leaded general aviation gasoline has announced the acquisition of a 50 percent stake in a German firm. The transaction allows Zweibrücken, Germany-based Swift Fuel GmbH to license the intellectual property and technical expertise, including 100SF aviation gasoline targeted for general aviation aircraft.
Six flight instructors completed the Master Instructors course to receive the prestigious designation in the month of January. The title has been earned by fewer than 700 of the 91,000 CFIs currently active in the country. The last 17 National Flight Instructors of the Year were Master CFIs. In addition, the FAA has approved the accreditation as an alternate means for CFIs to renew their flight instructor certificates.
