Pilots, Crew Flying Internationally Must Demonstrate Use Of
Language
ANN reminds all pilots, flight crew members and control tower
operators who operate internationally that the International Civil
Aviation Organization deadline to demonstrate English proficiency
is fast approaching. Effective March 5, ICAO will require those
certificate holders to show proof they are skilled in using the
English language.
Flight Operations Numbers Down At Beaufort County Airports
Recent flight operations counts at two coastal South Carolina
airports have revealed that area air traffic has slipped to the
lowest levels recorded in several years, supporting the contention
that economic conditions are indeed taking their toll on
recreational general aviation.

Altoona
Altoona Blair County Airport (AOO) in Pennsylvania is now home
to Cove Helicopter. As of January 1, Robinson Helicopter Company of
Torrance, CA has authorized Cove Helicopter as an R22 and R44
Service and Overhaul center.
