The security of the nation's airspace, airports and aircraft is
every pilot's concern. As the voice for general aviation, the
Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association has teamed with the
Transportation Security Administration to develop an exciting new
online course to help flight schools, FBOs, aircraft owners, renter
pilots and flying clubs enhance aviation security.
No matter which way you look at it, the general aviation
landscape for 2008 may look very different from just a year ago...

If you inadvertently enter icing conditions, your primary
responsibility is to maintain control of the aircraft. Activate all
anti-icing and de-icing equipment. If equipped, turn cabin heat on
full defrost, turn on the pitot-heat, and activate the alternate
