It's a shot across the bow for owners of diesel-powered
aircraft. In a letter sent by ExxonMobil US General Aviation
Operations Manager Martin Tippl to distributors of Jet-A fuel on
November 17, the company announced it has made the technical
decision that ExxonMobil Aviation does not support or endorse the
supply of jet fuel to aircraft powered by diesel engines.

On Wednesday, November 19, 2008, the City of San Antonio had the
official ribbon cutting and opening ceremonies for a major addition
to the terminal building at Stinson Municipal Airport (SSF).
Airport Property Ventures has been awarded a 50-year
"development lease" for improvements at the Oceanside, CA airport.
Passed by a 4-1 vote, the Oceanside City Council action marks a
major step in securing the airport's future.
