Light Gun A handheld directional light signaling device which emits a brilliant narrow beam of white, green, or red light as selected by the tower controller. The color and type of light transmitted can be used to approve or disapprove anticipated pilot actions where radio communication is not available. The light gun is used for controlling traffic operating in the vicinity of the airport and on the airport movement area.

Aero-Linx:Bomber Command Museum of  Canada Honouring all those associated with Bomber Command during WWII and commemorating the activities of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan. The Nanton Lancaster Society was formed following the Town of Nanton's suggestion in the fall of 1985 that perhaps a group could be formed to, "take care of the Bomber" which had been on outside display for twenty-five years. At this time virtually no one had been in the aircraft since it had arrived and very little was known, in Nanton, about the Lancaster or the history associated with it.
