the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers,
at a strike meeting in the Seattle area Thursday night. He was
quoted by the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. The rank and file agreed,
86-percent of them voting to walk off the job. Commercial aircraft
production at Boeing, which is seeing the best year for new
aircraft sales since 2001, has now ground to a halt.
