"The unfortunate collapse of the
Millville AFSS roof has required Lockheed Martin to adjust our
planning in regards to your employment situation."
Source: From a letter sent to employees of the
Millville, NJ, Airport Flight Service Station, advising them of
Lockheed Martin's decision to close the FSS after an air
conditioning unit fell through the facility's roof last month.
Employees had expected to stay on for as much as eighteen months
following Lockheed Martin's October 4 takeover of the operation
from the FAA -- but that was before the roof fell in.
