IF/IAWP (Intermediate
Fix/Initial Approach Waypoint)
The waypoint
where the final approach course of a T approach meets the crossbar
of the T. When designated (in conjunction with a TAA) this waypoint
will be used as an IAWP when approaching the airport from certain
directions, and as an IFWP when beginning the approach from another
IAWP.
Aero-Linx: The Virginia
Regional Festival of FLIGHT
Scheduled for this April 30 and May 1, 2011, this event will be
hosted at the Suffolk Executive Airport (SFQ). The event's
objective is 'to promote aerospace education and understanding of
“recreational aviation” through the hosting of an
annual Regional Festival of Flight. Recreational aviation
encompasses: airplanes, fun, families, building, restoring, flying,
exploring, and learning.' Organized by the Virginia Aviation
Council, Inc., an IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation made up
entirely with volunteers.
