Dedicated to sharing the history of the Women Air force Service
Pilots (WASP) of WWII, when a select group of young women pilots
became pioneers, heroes, and role models -- the first women in
history trained to fly American military aircraft.
A stick used to "flip start" a model airplane engine, and save
your fingers from getting caught in the propeller when the engine
starts or backfires. Sometimes, it's good to be a chicken.
"This is certainly facilitating the exchange of
aeronautical products between the United States and China," Hickey
said.

opened an office in Shanghai on Friday, a move that is expected to
assist Chinese manufacturers' efforts to earn US certification for
their aircraft and boost US aviation industry sales to China's
