Airborne 11.20.12: Riggs GROUNDED, Eurocopter Suffers Bizarre Jury Verdict

It’s been a long time coming but the jig is finally up for David Riggs, aviation's Public Enemy Number 1. On Friday the FAA issued an Emergency Revocation Order against Riggs, directing him to immediately surrender any and all pilot certificates and advising him that no new pilot certificate will be issued to him for a period of one year from the date of the order. There's a running joke in the news reporting business that one should never let facts stand in the way of a good story. Unfortunately that seems to have been the case in a Texas trial where the jury

Hyner View

Hyner View, located in scenic central Pennsylvania, has been home to foot-launched flying for both hang gliders and paragliders since 1975. Launch is located on D.C.N.R land known as Hyner View State Park.
