Squadron 164. The planes, the ships, the men, the victory, and the
sorrow. But most of all our memories. Our aim is to preserve the
history of this gallant US Naval Squadron. If you're not a Ghost
Rider, we welcome you to our home. As we open the door to what it
was like being a Ghost Rider.

father... a Vietnam helicopter pilot. Armit Tilgner served six
tours of duty in Vietnam. In addition to a Purple Heart, he earned
four Bronze Stars, five Army Commendation Medals, three Meritorious
Unit Commendation Medals, two Valorous Unit Awards and 136 Air
Medal Awards. Armit Tilgner was lost in a 1982 accident, while
flying medevac missions in Malaysia.
