As the worldwide fleet of 787-Dreamliners continues to sit on the ground while investigators probe two recent overheating battery incidents, Boeing Chairman, President and CEO Jim McNerney issued a statement saying the company "Deeply regrets" the impact on its customers and their passengers. The 787s batteries are made by GS Yuasa of Japan and its manufacturing process is almost certainly going to become part of the investigation.
