Airborne At USSAE 2013: 787 Misery Update, LSAs At Sebring, FAA Killing Off LSA?

As the worldwide fleet of 787-Dreamliners continues to sit on the ground while investigators probe two recent overheating battery incidents, Boeing Chairman, President and CEO Jim McNerney issued a statement saying the company "Deeply regrets" the impact on its customers and their passengers. The 787s batteries are made by GS Yuasa of Japan and its manufacturing process is almost certainly going to become part of the investigation. And wile the aviation world has plenty to worry about on the airline side of things, there is much sport flying goodness at Sebring's USSAE 2013 event
