Baldwin Aviation Offers SMSace Program For Fixed And Rotor Wing

A new safety management program designed to support the
Owner/Operator of light fixed and rotor wing aircraft has been
launched by Baldwin Aviation Safety & Compliance. "SMSace has
been developed specifically for owners and operators of Light
Business Aircraft to provide them with a unique set of tools for a
structured safety program," explained Don Baldwin, President and
Chief Executive Officer of Baldwin.
The recent delivery of an EC135 to ADAC Air Rescue by Eurocopter
marks the 1000th such aircraft to be equipped with a Becker
Avionics DVCS6100 digital audio and intercom system installed. The
EC135 light twin-engine multi-purpose helicopter, along with the
Becker DVCS have been very successful products over the last
decade.
A third S-76D prototype helicopter has joined the aircraft's
certification flight test program, according to Sikorsky officials
in Florida. “D3,” the third prototype, recently flew
for the first time, officially taking its place as the program's
primary vehicle to certify the avionics and electrical systems. The
S-76D helicopter flight test program has achieved more than 500
flight hours to-date with its first two prototypes.
