On September 2nd through the 5th, the American Bonanza Society held its 40th annual convention in Salt Lake City. Featuring over 50 hours of seminars directed towards Beech enthusiasts and owners alike, the five-day event included educational classes, speakers, and social activities for attendees.

Hundreds rushed to participate in this “Golden Age of Aviation,” leading to a tremendous increase in technological advancements. One such participant was Bernard H. Pietenpol, a self-taught airplane designer from Spring Valley Cherry Grove, Minnesota.
First Of 23 Helicopters Ordered For Nationwide EMS
The Polish Ministry of Health took delivery in Warsaw Thursday
of the first of 23 EC135 helicopters ordered from Eurocopter in
June 2008. The new fleet will be assigned to the country’s
nationwide Emergency Medical Services (EMS) network.
