SUBJECT: Airworthiness Directive 2009-08-08
SUMMARY: We are adopting a new airworthiness directive
(AD) for the products listed above. This AD results from mandatory
continuing airworthiness information (MCAI) issued by an aviation
authority of another country to identify and correct an unsafe
condition on an aviation product.
Kansas State University Aviation has received advanced glass
cockpit avionics equipment from Garmin Ltd. that will help avionics
maintenance students learn to work on modern electronic navigation
and communication radios.
