Creating New High-Skill Manufacturing Jobs In The Niagara region
Airbus Helicopters Canada (formerly Eurocopter Canada) announced Tuesday that it will be adding a new production line at its Fort Erie, ON helicopter production facility, creating approximately 40 new high-skill manufacturing jobs.
Benoit Defforge has been appointed Managing Director, Airbus Corporate Jets. He now leads Airbus’ corporate jet business globally, combining his new role with that of his previous one as Head of the Airbus Corporate Jet Center (ACJC).
Memorandum Of Agreement Loosens Some Pre-Mission Approval Requirements
The FAA and the Department of the Interior (DOI) have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) that will ease some pre-mission administrative approval requirements on certain DOI UAS operations.
Aircraft Will Be Used Primarily For Surveillance Missions
Following an extensive review of available platforms, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department (SBCSD) has selected the GippsAero-Mahindra Aerospace GA8 Airvan as its next generation ISR mission platform. Replacing its current fleet of Cessna aircraft, the GA8 Airvan’s are being acquired to expand mission capabilities and lower operational costs.
