An Indonesian Casa 212 went down on approach to a remote
airfield in the waters off New Guinea Tuesday, killing 15 people
and injuring three others. Officials said pilot reported engine
trouble just before the mishap.
A Bell 206B-1 helicopter configured for medical transport went
down in northwest Arkansas Monday, killing the patient and injuring
the three crew members on board, according to local authorities.
Federal and state investigators rushed to the scene on Tuesday,
looking for clues.

Eric Hill has been hired as general manager of California's Million
Air Long Beach. Hill, who began work on Feb. 7, will be
responsible for overseeing both the general and commercial aviation
