'Evening With Angels' Featured Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons
An industry benefit for the Corporate Angle Network (CAN) held at the 65th annual NBAA convention and meeting raised $371,000 to support CAN’s life-saving flights for cancer patients. The funds for CAN were raised through an annual benefit titled, “NBAA/CAN Soiree – An Evening With Angels,” which included live and silent auctions and a concert performance by Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons.
Aviation Partners Boeing (APB) was named as the recipient of the Corporate Award for Balance on Tuesday, an award given annually by the Charles A. and Anne Morrow Lindbergh Foundation. Joe Clark, Chairman and Founder of APB, and APB CEO Bill Ashworth accepted the award.
The National Aeronautic Association (NAA) has recognized Hawker Beechcraft Corporation (HBC) for a new speed record set by its Beechcraft King Air 350ER. Jonathan Gaffney, President of the NAA, awarded the company with the official certificate at the 2012 NBAA annual convention in Orlando.
