First Fully Configured S-76D Aircraft Delivered To Bristow Group

Sikorsky Helicopter To Execute Offshore Oil Service Missions

The first fully configured S-76D helicopter was delivered to the Bristow Group Inc. in December, according to a Sikorsky news release. The delivery follows an announcement in March 2013 that Bristow would acquire up to 26 S-76D helicopters to transport oil rig workers to and from offshore platforms.

Canadian TSB Releases Report On Helicopter Rotor Separation Accident

Three Fatally Injured After Main Rotor Failed In Flight The Canadian Transportation Safety Board (TSB) has released a report detailing an accident involving a Bell 206L helicopter which suffered an in-flight separation of its main rotor. All three occupants of the aircraft received fatal injuries when the helo impacted terrain.
