New Owner Will Fly The Airplane In A Charter Operation

The first King Air C90 to be powered by GE's H80 800 SHP engines has been delivered to its new owner by Smyrna Air Center in Smyrna, TN. A formal ribbon cutting and delivery presentation was held at Smyrna Air Center at Smyrna Airport (KMQY) in Smyrna Tennessee on Thursday December 20th, 2012. At its Migration Flight Training Conference last October, the Redbird folks that their school has graduated 20 Private Pilots, as well as completed 18 instrument ratings, one multi-engine rating and one instrument instructor certificate. It took an average of 38 flight hours to complete the private pilot rating, which is less than two-thirds the national average.
