Negotiators for pilots at American Eagle, represented by the Air
Line Pilots Association, Int'l (ALPA), reached a tentative
agreement (TA) Thursday with management in the final amendment
round of their 16-year contract.

Portfolio
Sabre Holdings announced this week the acquisition of Flight
Explorer, which provides real-time tracking, reporting, and display
of en-route aircraft for commercial operators. The acquisition is
part of Sabre's long-term growth plans and continual investments in
the company's airline portfolio.
There is no shortage of airline seats to or between the Hawaiian
Islands despite the closure of Aloha Airlines and ATA Airlines in
April this year. That's the message from Hawaii tourism officials,
concerned over "misinformation" in some media the number of air
seats between the US Mainland and Hawaii has dropped in excess of
25 percent since the two carriers ceased operations in April.
