Say... this isn't DFW! That would have been the reaction of passengers who might have slept through the hour-long delay in landing for American Airlines Flight 1496 from Long Beach, CA. The aircraft diverted from DFW to Fort Worth Meachum Field Thursday night as strong storms blanketed North Texas, north and east of DFW International.

TSA Drops 30-Minute In-Your-Seat Rule At DCA

The TSA is suspending the section of a Security Directive that has required all passengers flying into and out of Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport to be seated for 30 minutes after departure or before arrival. The rule will be suspended as of 1800 on Friday.
