Positive Revenue Growth Reflects An Industry Still In
Recovery
The Air Transport Association of America (ATA) released a report
Friday that passenger revenue, based on a sample group of carriers,
rose 12.5 percent in April 2010 versus the same month in 2009,
marking the fourth consecutive month of revenue growth.
A majority of flight attendants at Frontier Airlines voted
Thursday to join the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA
(AFA-CWA). The election vote, conducted by the National Mediation
Board (NMB), showed that 456 out of 879, or 51.8%, of flight
attendants voted for AFA-CWA representation.
But Moving The Airplane Across The Street Was A Major
Undertaking
American Airlines donated a retired MD-80 jet to George T. Baker
Aviation School Friday, making it one of the only accredited
aviation schools in the country to have a commercial airliner on
school grounds.
