The Israeli national carrier EL AL said Wednesday it has
completed a contract to order four Next-Generation 737-900ERs
(extended range) from Boeing, and reserve options for future
aircraft. The four-airplane order is valued at approximately $343.2
million at current list prices.

United Airlines' 777 fleet will be modified with a "Performance
Improvement Package" that Boeing and the airline say will result in
