SUMMARY: The FAA is revising an existing airworthiness
directive (AD) that applies to certain Boeing Model 737-600, -700,
-700C, and -800 series airplanes.
With the first flight of Boeing's 787 Dreamliner apparently on
track for later this year, pilots will soon need to start learning

What once was old, is new again... and that's definitely good
news for Airbus, which won its first firm order this week for the
redesigned A350 XWB midsized airliner, from an old customer.
Construction on the Middle East's highest air traffic control
tower has begun at Dubai World Central, an "urban aviation
community" now taking shape at Jebel Ali in Dubai, United Arab
Emirates.
It appears a bit of the long-dormant "Spirit of Delta" may soon
return to Delta Air Lines. The Atlanta, GA-based carrier announced
this week that, as its financial picture improves, so would its

Don't look now... but after years of lackluster sales, interest
in Boeing's middling 767 widebody appears to be quietly rising. The
American planemaker announced Thursday that cargo-hauler DHL agreed
on an order for six 767-300ER (Extended Range) Freighters.
