Order Marks The First 777 Purchase For China Airlines

China Airlines has placed an order with Boeing for six 777-300ERs (Extended Range) airplanes. The order, which is valued at approximately $2 billion at list prices, includes purchase rights for four additional 777-300ERs. The new airplanes will become the first 777s to join China Airlines' fleet.

Delta Swamped With Applicants For Flight Attendant Jobs

About Two Applications Came In Every Minute For The Positions

When Delta recently posted 300 flight attendant jobs outside the company, the response it got seems to indicate that there are still a lot of people in the country looking for a job. The airline received 22,000 applications for the 300 openings in the first week of the posting, or about 73 hopeful employees for every job.
