Lower-Carbon Fuels To Support Flights During Upcoming Major Sporting Events

Boeing and GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes S.A. have announced plans to work together to speed the research, development and approval of new sources of sustainable aviation biofuel in Brazil. Their collaboration will support GOL's plans to use this lower-carbon jet fuel on more flights during upcoming major sporting events and also will benefit long-term development of a new sustainable aviation biofuel industry in Brazil.

The initial group of pilots for Startup carrier Baltia Air Lines has begun initial training. The 7 week course which began on November 11th consists of non-aircraft specific courses, aircraft specific courses and simulator sessions.
