The FAA proposed fines ranging from $140,000 to over a half
million dollars on Friday against three companies. Two of those
were for violations of shipping regulations.
Below-Wing ACS And Cargo Employees Say "No" To IAM
Delta Air Lines has received notification from the National
Mediation Board (NMB) more than 53 percent of below-wing Airport
Customer Service (ACS) and Cargo warehouse employees voting in the
Fleet Service election rejected representation by the International
Association of Machinists (IAM).
Pilots Must Still Ratify Their Agreement Before The Larger
Boeing Will Fly For Southwest
Southwest Airlines said Thursday that its Flight Attendants,
represented by the Transport Workers Union (TWU) Local 556, voted
to ratify a tentative agreement reached with the Company in
September to add the Boeing 737-800 to the current collective
bargaining agreement.
A woman employed by the city of Denver at KDIA and a firefighter
stationed at the airport used a $2.5 million mobile command post
for sexual liaisons on three separate occasions in 2009. Neither is
still employed by the city.
