Company Names Board Members, Begins Trading on NYSE as UAL

United Continental Holdings, Inc., formerly UAL Corporation,
announced Friday that a wholly owned subsidiary has merged with
Continental Airlines, Inc., and that Continental Airlines and
United Air Lines, Inc. are now wholly owned subsidiaries of United
Continental Holdings, Inc.

In the waning days before Congress adjourns so that members can
campaign for re-election, U.S. Senators Tom Carper (D-DE) and Scott
Brown (R-MA) introduced legislation Wednesday they say will improve
the safety of American airports.
In an announcement that has, frankly, been telegraphed for the
past several months, Boeing said Thursday it was changing the
schedule for the 747-8 Freighter with first delivery now expected
mid-year 2011.
