GE Capital Aviation Services Places Order For Two Additional ATR 72-600s

Total Number Of -600's Under Lease Climbs To 17

In a follow-on to GE Capital Aviation Services' (GECAS) first-ever ATR order placed in June at the Paris Air Show, the leasing company announced Tuesday that it has placed an order for two additional ATR 72-600 turboprop aircraft, along with two options. This is and brings the total number of ATRs ordered by GECAS to 17 with 17 options. GECAS will begin to take delivery of the new aircraft in late 2012.
