Engine Stop, Restart And Cooling Systems Completed, Tested
XCOR Aerospace announced Thursday that it has reached several
significant milestones in the 5K18 rocket engine test program. This
is the engine that powers XCOR’s Lynx suborbital
spacecraft.
Legendary astronauts like John Glenn, Jim Lovell, Buzz Aldrin
and 30 more are offering their space artifacts and signature for an
online, charity auction which opens Friday, September 4. The
auction, which benefits the nonprofit Astronaut Scholarship
Foundation, features 30 lots of extraordinary space artifacts.
