On August first, EAA's top executive will have a name other than Poberezny for the first time in 58 years. The timetable for the passing of the baton from Tom Poberezny to Rod Hightower was left vague when Hightower was named President last year, but today Tom and the EAA board set August 1st as the day.
Parameters Include Volume, Geometry, 'Habitability'
NASA has selected four universities to design habitat and
science concepts that could be used by future deep space explorers.
The teams will participate in the second eXploration Habitat
(X-Hab) Academic Innovation Challenge led by NASA and the National
Space Grant Foundation.
