Stevens Aviation announced Thursday the appointment of Glenn J. Brown as President and Chief Operating Officer. Brown joins Stevens from Rolls-Royce Engines where he was Vice President of Aftermarket and Customer Service, Corporate and Regional Aircraft. Brown led significant improvements in Rolls-Royce's aftermarket sales and profits and won recognition for major enhancements of the company's field service and support organizations and improvements in customer satisfaction.

Brown has over 27 years of experience in aerospace and aviation management including executive leadership with Rolls-Royce and operational and financial management at Lucas Aerospace. Brown also led the technology services consulting practices for Regard Corporation and ObjectShare.

Brown is a graduate of the University of South Carolina's Moore School with a BS in Economics and an MBA in Finance. At South Carolina he was a Graduate Fellow and a South Carolina Honors Intern. He and his wife Melissa and their newborn twin sons Zach and Nathan will be relocating to Greenville, SC.

Tom Foley, owner of Stevens, said, "We are very pleased that Glenn Brown will be joining the Stevens senior management team. Glenn has a unique combination of broad aviation operating experience, familiarity with Stevens' customer base, strong academic credentials, and South Carolina roots. Glenn and Stevens' senior managers will make a very strong team for aggressively building Stevens' future business."
