The Goodyear Blimps and the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve will conduct their seventh joint maneuver next month benefitting the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation at the company's airship base in Ohio. The event will provide the public with an opportunity to donate to Toys for Tots while enjoying an up close and personal view of the ongoing construction of a third airship inside the hangar in Suffield, Ohio.

Aircraft Was En Route To The USS Ronald Reagan

A U.S. Navy C-2 Greyhound airplane ... known as a COD for Carrier Onboard Delivery ... went gone down in the Pacific Wednesday while en route to the USS Ronald Reagan. There were 11 people on board the aircraft, according to the Navy. Eight of those were rescued and transported to the carrier where they received medical attention.

IATA: Air Transport Generates $9.6 Billion In GDP For Argentina

Accounts For 1.7 Percent Of That Nation's Gross Domestic Product

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced new data showing that aviation and aviation-induced tourism contribute $9.6 billion to Argentina's economy and support 300,000 jobs, equivalent to 1.7% of the country's GDP. The findings are among the highlights from "The Importance of Air Transport in Argentina'" study conducted by Oxford Economics on behalf of IATA.
