Continental Airlines -- believed by many to be in talks with United Airlines about a merger of their own -- released the following message Tuesday to its more than 45,000 employees from Larry Kellner, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and Jeff Smisek, President, in response to Monday night's announcement that Delta Air Lines and Northwest Airlines have agreed to merge.
