AVEX 2008 Coming To Egypt In Early November

Billed As "World's Most Exclusive Air Show And Aviation Expo"

The AVEX Air Show & Aviation Expo will be held from November 5-8, 2008 at Sharm El Sheikh International Airport in Egypt, gathering the small and midsized aviation industry's leaders to meet with potential and existing customers and conduct business in an exclusive environment.

AVEX brings together business executives, royals, government heads, aviation enthusiasts, tourists and the Egyptian public. The first two days of the event are assigned as Trade Days, focused purely on business and VIP networking. Organizers say this platform offers both aviation corporations and public aviation companies the opportunity to display small and mid-sized airplanes, helicopters, commercial and business aircraft, related equipment, accessories and services.

Visitors at AVEX will discover the latest technological innovations and meet with several handpicked exhibitors -- including Airbus, Boeing, Cessna, Egypt Air, Eclipse Aviation, Embraer, ATR, ExecuJet Aviation Group, Gulf Stream, Hawker Beechcraft, Rolls Royce, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Thales and many more.

A designated section of the airport will be a showcase of small and midsized aircraft by top manufacturers featuring static displays of sleek new jets including the Airbus 318 Elite, Cessna's Citation X, the Hawker 900 XP, the Eclipse 500, the Gulfstream G450, the Learjet 60XR, Sino Swearingen SJ30-2, among others.

For the first time ever, AVEX 2008 will host the MENA Business Aviation Congress and the prestigious World Aviation Awards (WAA) ceremony. The Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation, Ahmed Shafik, will be opening the Congress by briefing the audience on the state of the business aviation industry in the Middle East.

Organizations including Arab Air Carriers Organization, Abu Dhabi Airports Company, RAK, Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation, Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation, will be leading the congress.

AVEX will also feature stunning aerobatic performances by Red Bull's Flying Bulls, the Egyptian Silver Stars and the Royal Jordanian Falcons. Other attractions at AVEX will include a go-kart racing track, the vertical lift Sky Dive Fan and AVEX Terminal Party in partnership with PASHA Night Club.

AVEX 2008 provides multi-million dollar deal making opportunities for industry professionals and VIPs and a grand entertainment pavilion for all visitors.
