Red Wing Aeroplane Company Joins Air Charter Safety Foundation

Wisconsin-Based Charter Company Joins 120 Others In The Safety Effort

The Air Charter Safety Foundation (ACSF) is pleased to announce that Red Wing Aeroplane Company, Bay City, WI, is the newest charter operator to join the ACSF. Along with 120 other companies, Red Wing Aeroplane now supports ACSFs vision to enable on-demand air charter providers and fractional program managers to achieve the highest levels of safety in the aviation industry.

“At Red Wing Aeroplane Company, safety is at the foundation of all of our services,” said Red Wing Aeroplane Company CEO, Wesley Converse. “Our steadfast dedication to passenger safety and security is supported by a comprehensive and ongoing program of internal review and third-party audits. Our membership heightens the validity of our commitment to safety, and are very pleased to have the support of the ACSF in that commitment.”

Red Wing Aeroplane Company is a leader in on-demand private jet charter service, and is a full-service FAA certified repair station with an unlimited class 3 airframe repair rating.  Director of Maintenance and Chief Inspector Bob Converse has more than 60 years’ aviation maintenance experience, and has been a recipient of the prestigious Charles Taylor Master Mechanic Award.

“Red Wing Aeroplane has the shared attitude among their team members that safety above and beyond what is considered regulatory must be a core value for their company, said ACSF President Bryan Burns. “We are delighted that they will be participating in the ACSF-ASAP program as well.”

The ACSF has developed the industry audit standard, an all-inclusive audit tailored for Part 135 and 91K operators that acts as a detailed gap analysis of an operator’s management practices. The audit program consists of a thorough review of an operator’s processes, procedures and regulatory compliance and the operator’s implementation of and adherence to a safety management system.
