Gulfstream Donates $50,000 To Corporate Angel Network

Financial Contribution In Addition To CAN Flights

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation has donated $50,000 to Corporate Angel Network in support of the charity's 30-year program of arranging free flights to treatment for cancer patients using empty seats on business aircraft. "Our donations of empty seats on regular business flights help transport cancer patients who need critical care both quickly and comfortably to the best possible treatment for their particular type of cancer, and that sometimes involves traveling long distances," said Joseph T. Lombardo, President of Gulfstream Aerospace and Executive Vice President, Aerospace, of its parent company, General Dynamics.

"Corporate Angel's work of easing the load and brightening the lives of those touched by cancer also requires financial support, and we are proud to be among the many companies that see this need," Lombardo said.

"In addition to their financial contributions, these great companies, Gulfstream Aerospace and its parent, General Dynamics, have donated space on their corporate flights for more than 25," said Randall Greene, President of Safe Flight Instrument Corporation and Corporate Angel Network's Chairman.

"Joe Lombardo has been a strong presence on our board of directors for two year now," Greene said.  "Corporate Angel's future success depends in large measure on the strong sense of public support that executives like Joe and companies like Gulfstream provide."
