Heli-Expo 2006: Flightsafety To Host Helicopter Safety Forum

FlightSafety International will be hosting a Helicopter Safety Forum at the Marriott Dallas/Fort Worth South Hotel in Fort Worth, Texas on May 4-5, 2006.

The purpose of the 2006 Helicopter Safety Forum is to provide members of the Helicopter community with the opportunity to attend safety-centered seminars, participate in discussion groups and receive the latest information on helicopter safety from industry experts and government officials.

The Helicopter Safety Forum follows the highly successful Air Medical Forum hosted by FlightSafety in May 2005. Helicopter operators, government officials, insurance company representatives and aircraft manufacturers and helicopter industry associations as well as members of the media attended the conference.

The Safety Forum is open to all Helicopter operators, courtesy of FlightSafety, and will address issues relevant to Air Medical, Law Enforcement, Fire, Offshore as well as other Corporate and Commercial operations.

Presentations and discussion topics will include: Safety Management Systems, Transition from Military to Civilian Operations, Human Factors, Crew Resource Management, Decision Making, Fatigue, Stress, FAA guidelines and initiatives, NTSB recommendations, CAMTS accreditation, ALEA Standards, Insurance Recommendations, Automation and New Technologies.
