Aero-TV: Aerosonic's OASIS -- The Ultimate Answer To 'What If?'

Aerosonic Intro’s OASIS

In the midst of all the amazing electronic wizardry that populates today's extraordinary cockpits and panels, it behooves us to note that, sometimes, things go wrong.

With that in mind, Aerosonic has introduced its new OASIS... The newest product in the Aerosonic stable, the OASIS standby display capitalizes on their transition from mechanical to digital instrumentation and provides an affordable and innovative standby solution. The flexible design allows for two displays to be driven by one remote sensor unit. The separation of the sensor from the display allows for installation of the display where less than three inches of clearance exists behind the panel.

The display unit’s thin design fits in the smallest and most shallow panel spaces while the ASU can be placed in any convenient space in the aircraft, eliminating running pitot/static plumbing through the bulkhead. The OASIS is available at less than the cost of traditional instruments and eliminates additional costs associated with repair and calibration of older mechanical gauges while reducing system weight compared to conventional backup instruments. In the event that the function of primary flight displays is lost, you can transition seamlessly to the familiar format on the OASIS. Battery power provides further protection from power loss and allows you to focus on the flight critical information.
