Company Says XL-5 Sales Momentum Is Building

High-performance homebuilt aircraft producer Velocity Aircraft announced Tuesday a new purchase order of 20 Velocity XL-5 aircraft. Level D CRJ200 FFS To Enter Service In 2009

CAE is adding a second Bombardier CRJ full-flight simulator (FFS) to its Madrid training center, doubling its CRJ platform capacity in the region. The simulator will be a CRJ200 Level D that will support the currently installed CRJ200/900 Level D FFS. It is scheduled to enter into service in early 2009.

NASA Probe Scheduled To Launch October 19

The first NASA spacecraft to image and map the dynamic interactions taking place where the hot solar wind slams into the cold expanse of space is ready for launch October 19. The two-year mission will begin from the Kwajalein Atoll, a part of the Marshall Islands in the Pacific Ocean.

A single piece horizontal tail surface on an airplane which serves the purpose of both the horizontal stabilizer and elevators. A stabilator must have some method of decreasing its sensitivity, and this is done with an antiservo tab on its trailing edge. The antiservo tab automatically moves in the same direction as the stabilator, and the aerodynamic force it produces opposes the movement of the stabilator.
