Now Available At Its Learning Centers And Online
FlightSafety International announces new Specialty and Enrichment courses that are available at its Learning Centers and online through eLearning and LiveLearning, the company’s instructor facilitated online training program.
FlightSafety’s Leadership for Aviation Professionals (LEAP) is a comprehensive leadership development program for current and aspiring aviation leaders. It is taught by highly experienced aviation leaders, and it uses a unique combination of an interactive classroom environment, an individually tailored special project, and one-on-one mentorship hours to develop critical leadership skills.
This executive-level program is comprised of five modules. Each module incorporates pre-study material, a 3-day classroom component, a special project tailored to each individual, and one-on-one mentorship sessions with an aviation leadership expert. LEAP attendees gain practical experience with Flight Department Manager responsibilities, create a network of peers, and develop lasting leadership skills.
FlightSafety will introduce an enhanced FAA approved International Procedures Initial training course in January 2019. The course is tailored to the individual needs of attendees by offering eLearning modules that are appropriate to the region in which they fly. An International Procedures Recurrent course is also available online and at Learning Centers, as is International Procedures Line Oriented Simulator training.
Updated initial and recurrent Human Factors – CRM courses will be available early next year. They will meet current FAA and upcoming EASA and Transport Canada requirements. They can be taken at a Learning Center, through eLearning, or LiveLearning.
In addition to an extensive online course offering and Part 135 Training Services FlightSafety offers a comprehensive Part 135 Indoc eLearning library which is customizable to an operator’s General Operating Manual. In 2019 FlightSafety will introduce new flexible and adaptive recurrent training options, which will allow participants to spend less time in areas they are already proficient in.
