Continental Motors Announces Limited Time Engine Sale

Discounts Will Coincide With AOPA Aviation Summit

Teledyne Continental Motors (TCM) announced today a limited time special offer on engines purchased during the week of the 2009 AOPA Aviation Summit in Tampa, Florida.  While the order period is brief, anyone in the market for a factory-new or factory-rebuilt TCM engine can take advantage of the special offer regardless of his or her attendance at the Summit.

"We hope that this incentive will encourage TCM operators to purchase their replacement engine now before the tax benefits of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act expire in December," stated Rhett Ross, president of Teledyne Continental Motors. TCM is offering the discounts on orders received by TCM between Monday, November 2, 2009 and Sunday, November 8, 2009 for factory-new and factory-rebuilt aftermarket engines, including $2,500 on model 550 and 520 powerplants, and $2,000 on 470, 360, 240, and 200 engines excluding the lightweight O-200.

TCM says it is looking forward to participating in the AOPA Aviation Summit for 2009 and will have their line of engines and Genuine Continental original equipment replacement parts on display.
