Manufacturing Workers Still On Strike

Bell Helicopter announced Sunday it has reached a new contract agreement with the United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) Local 317, which represents 340 office and clerical workers at Bell facilities in Fort Worth, Hurst, Arlington, Grand Prairie and Roanoke, Texas.

Billy Mays Hit On The Head During Tampa Landing

Celebrity Pitchman Billy Mays complained about not feeling well before going to bed Saturday night, and Sunday his wife found him unresponsive. He was pronounced dead on arrival at a Tampa hospital.  Mays was on a USAirways flight Saturday that landed hard in Tampa, reportedly causing minor injuries to several of the passengers.

Ask For An Extension Of The Comment Period

EAA and AOPA are asking the FAA to extend the public comment period from 30 to 60 days regarding a petition to impose a night flight curfew at the Bob Hope Airport (BUR) in Burbank, California. The curfew, proposed by the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority (BGPAA) for 10 p.m.-6:59 am, would force all users to transfer night flight operations to other regional airports.
