Universal Avionics has announced the completed development of its Aperture visual data management solution, now moving on to production. The Aperture system has been an object of interest for a major avionics OEM, and Universal says it’s just the first of many to express interest in its capabilities. Parker Meggitt has announced iPress, a long-range, wireless tire pressure monitor for general aviation aircraft using their new WTPS. Out of the gate, the system will be available for a range of Cessna and Beechcraft products thanks to their Textron manufacture. Meggitt worked alongside the company to ensure integration with the Textron Aviation Service app for smartphones and tablets, allowing owners and operators an easy, no-stress way to track the state of their tires from afar without manual checks.

Asset Insight has published their 3rd quarter 2022 Market Report covering recent developments in the pre-owned business aircraft market, marking a continued increase in demand despite greater economic bumps in other markets. Inventory for used aircraft has continued to rise since March 2022 while lagging below 2021 levels for the same time period in each category of aircraft. NTSB Prelim: Zenith CH 750

During The Takeoff Roll He Noticed That “Something Felt Wrong”

On September 22, 2022, about 1210 eastern daylight time, an experimental, amateur-built Zenith CH 750, N2992W, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident at Cincinnati Municipal Airport (LUK), Cincinnati, Ohio. The private pilot was not injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight.
