The Outlook showed $274 billion worth of aircraft over 8,400 deliveries. From 2023 to 2032, that represents a 15% improvement in expenditures over the same forecasted period made 10 years prior. New bizjet deliveries in 2023 are expected to be 17% higher than 2022, with expenditures 20%.
iPress Soon to be Available for Cessna, Beechcraft Aircraft
Parker Meggitt has announced iPress, a long-range, wireless tire pressure monitor for general aviation aircraft using their new WTPS. Out of the gate, the system will be available for a range of Cessna and Beechcraft products thanks to their Textron manufacture. Meggitt worked alongside the company to ensure integration with the Textron Aviation Service app for smartphones and tablets, allowing owners and operators an easy, no-stress way to track the state of their tires from afar without manual checks.

Indianapolis’s Leadership In Flight Training (LIFT) Academy has announced a partnership with Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) by which the two institutions seek to create new didactic and practical career pathways for aspiring commercial pilots. In autumn 2022, students will be able to combine LIFT’s flight training and IWU’s academic curricula to contemporaneously earn two and four-year college degrees and commercial pilot certificates. Gulfstream Kicking Production Up a Notch to Meet Expected Demand
Gulfstream Aerospace has announced an impending expansion of its Savannah, Georgia aircraft and wing manufacturing facility to meet expected customer demand of the next-gen Gulfstream G400. The 262,000 square-foot expansion will add dedicated space for G400 production and wing lines, with additional room devoted to material delivery and distribution areas. Inventory for used aircraft has continued to rise since March 2022 while lagging below 2021 levels for the same time period in each category of aircraft. Fleet-wide, inventory increased by more than 11%, while the average Ask Price rose by 8.9% to a 12-month peak.

On September 22, 2022, about 1210 eastern daylight time, an experimental, amateur-built Zenith CH 750, N2992W, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident at Cincinnati Municipal Airport (LUK), Cincinnati, Ohio. The private pilot was not injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight. According to the pilot, during the takeoff roll he noticed that “something felt wrong.”
